Rolling Loud Unveils Bay Area Lineup Featuring Future, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert & G-Eazy
Rolling Loud is ready to once again make some noise in Northern California with the third annual edition of Rolling Loud Bay Area set for Sept. 28-29. The lineup unveiled Monday boasts Future and G-Eazy topping Saturday and Migos and Lil Uzi Vert headlining Sunday.
The hip-hop extravaganza will be held at Oakland’s Coliseum Grounds, promising “a heavy dose of local flavor alongside rap’s biggest stars.”
Along with Oakland native G-Eazy, the lineup includes Bay Area talent SOB X RBE, Kamaiyah, Nef The Pharaoh, Berner, Saweetie, OMB Peezy and Philthy Rich.
The lineup announcement came hours after Goldenvoice revealed details for its inaugural Day N Vegas festival. Both events feature appearances from artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Juice WRLD, 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, Ski Mask The Slump God and Calboy.
But then again, Rolling Loud has always been about more than just the lineup. As Pollstar noted in a recent cover feature on Rolling Loud founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler, Rolling Loud may too have out-grown the term “music festival” as it expanded from its Miami-base into multiple locations.
“Rolling Loud used to be something that we had to explain to people,” 30-year-old Zingler says. “It’s defined now as a concert but what people are going to realize soon is that Rolling Loud is a lifestyle. And soon when you say the word you’re not going to know if you’re talking about movies, media, merchandising, you won’t know what it is, it will just be a lifestyle. It is hip-hop, in my opinion.”
GA and VIP tickets go on sale Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. PDT.
“The Bay Area always shows Rolling Loud so much love. We are excited to come back for a third time with a stacked lineup and an improved layout and fan experience. Yee!” Zingler & Cherif said in a joint statement.
