Shania Twain announced a new Las Vegas residency on Monday. The pop-country icon’s “Let’s Go!” show begins Dec. 6 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Twain announced 23 total dates, taking place in December and March, May and June 2020.
Twain will serve as creative director for the show, which will combine elements from her music videos and last year’s “Now” tour for a program that a press release promises will be a “journey of nostalgia” that will deploy “outside-the-box concepts and visual spectacles.”
In 2017, Twain released Now, her first album since 2002, and her 2018 tour of the same name grossed $51.5 million, securing a No. 34 ranking on Pollstar‘s Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart. Twain’s prior tour, in 2015, grossed $69 million and ranked No. 19 on the same chart.
Those tours followed Twain’s first Vegas residency, the massively successful “Shania: Still the One.” The show, which staged 105 performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace between December 2012 and December 2014, grossed $43.6 million, per Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
Tickets for Twain’s new residency go on sale the general public on June 21 at 10 a.m., following American Express, Caesars Rewards, Live Nation and Ticketmaster presales.
Of every purchased ticket, $1 will be donated to Shania Kids Can, the 2010 charity launched by Twain to help children in times of crisis and economic hardship.
