APA Signs Sugar Ray And Frontman Mark McGrath
Joe Lester – Sugar Ray
Talent agency APA has signed ’90s hit-makers Sugar Ray for touring worldwide and frontman Mark McGrath in all areas.
The band, known for late-90s hits hits such as “Fly,” “Every Morning” and “When It’s Over” just had a high-profile set at the inaugural BeachLife Festival near Santa Monica, Calif., with a packed afternoon crowd.
The band has done festivals and fairs in recent years including the California State Fair in Sacramento, Eat To The Beat in Orlando, and Kaaboo Del Mar in 2016.
Onscreen, McGrath most recently appeared as a finalist on Celebrity Big Brother on CBS, as well as the first season of the critically acclaimed Miss Dynamite on Netflix.
Feature film credits include appearing with Sugar Ray in the live-action Scooby-Doo, and opposite David Spade in Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser. He also currently hosts Mark McGrath’s 120, his own SiriusXM satellite radio show on their ‘90’s on 9 station.
Sugar Ray is repped by Josh Humiston and Travis Wolfe at APA for touring. Both they and McGrath continue to be managed by Chip Quigley of Kingdom Entertainment.
