WME announced the signing of Zac Brown Band on Friday. The group will be represented by a team of agents at WME, which boasts a strong country roster that also includes Eric Church, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert among many others.
Among country music’s most commercially successful and critically praised acts, Zac Brown Band has made waves since releasing their debut album in 2008.
The three-time Grammy-winning group took home Best New Artist in 2010 and, three years later, won Best Country Album for their 2012 record Uncaged. The group’s first four records went platinum and the band has topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart eight times.
But Zac Brown Band’s biggest accomplishments may have come on the road. The band has secured a spot on Pollstar‘s Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart every year since 2012, averaging an annual gross of $38.3 million.
Zac Brown Band’s 2018 gross was lower than any year since 2012, but still came in at a formidable $31.9 million. The band opened two September dates for the Eagles in San Francisco and San Diego – which grossed a combined $15.3 million – and continued to rake in money headlining stadiums of their own, including $2.48 million at Atlanta’s SunTrust Park on June 30 and $2.26 million at Minneapolis’ Target Field on Aug. 10.
The band also continued its longstanding love affair with Boston’s Fenway Park. Over two June nights, the group notched record-setting eight- and ninth-consecutive sellouts at the venue and grossed a total $5.15 million.
Zac Brown Band is currently on the second leg of the “Down the Rabbit Hole Live Tour.” In June, the group embarks on “The Owl Tour,” which will make stops at festivals, amphitheaters and stadiums, including another two-night stand at Fenway. Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Caroline Jones will split support duties.
Zac Brown Band joins WME from CAA. Scooter Braun’s SB Project manages Zac Brown Band, which recently signed a global licensing agreement with BMG for their sixth studio album, due this summer.
