Neste Live! Hires Ron Pateras As Talent Buyer

Ron Pateras has joined Neste Live!, which was recently acquired by Live Nation, as a talent buyer where he will help the full-service event marketing company to expand its fair, festival and corporate businesses. 

The live veteran joins Live Nation after 23 years doing programming and booking for Jam Productions, and he will report to Neste president Gil Cunningham.

Prior to his tenure at Jam, Pateras programmed non-classical concerts at Ravinia Festival for eight years, where he helped launch the Jazz In June series.

“Ron’s remarkable passion for music, longevity in the business and unparalleled expertise in the field make him an invaluable addition to the team,” said Cunningham in a statement. Added Pateras: “I’m thrilled to join this exciting new collaboration. Neste Live! is a brilliant partnership that, under the leadership of Gil, is destined to take live entertainment to new heights.”

Pateras will work with the rest of the Neste Live! team from its office in Brentwood, Tenn.

Live Nation Entertainment acquired Neste in February, rechristening the company as Neste Live! and promising “a new venture that will facilitate turn-key talent buying and event production services.”

“By creating Neste Live, we’ll help even more events and clients tap into the magic of live entertainment,” Live Nation’s president of U.S. Concerts Bob Roux said at the time. “Gil and the team at Neste are amazing at what they do and make the perfect partners for this new endeavor.”

Established in 1995, Neste has supported more than 500 events and boasts a corporate roster that includes Jockey, the NCAA College World Series and more.
