Live Nation announced this week that Johannah Juarez and Viryed Lara have both been promoted to Marketing Director in the Los Angeles area.

Juarez joined Live Nation in 2015, working out of the company’s Seattle office. In 2017, she transitioned to Los Angeles, serving as Marketing Manager. At Live Nation, she has marketed shows at third-party venues including the Greek Theatre, where she worked on shows by Harry Styles, Arcade Fire, Leon Bridges and more.

In her new role, Juarez will concentrate on FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif., and regional arenas, including the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, Calif. and Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.

Lara, meanwhile, joined Live Nation’s Los Angeles office as Marketing Manager in 2014. Prior to that, she worked at Entercom Radio and in William Morris Endeavor’s music marketing department. Lara’s work at Live Nation thus far includes marketing the Hollywood Palladium – and shows such as LCD Soundsystem, Nine Inch Nails and Bikini Kill – since 2017.

In her new role, Lara will overseeing marketing efforts at Live Nation venues including The Forum and Staples Center. She’ll also handle Latin event marketing in central and southern California.

Both Juarez and Lara will work on the fourth annual Ohana Festival, which announced its lineup earlier this week.
