Juice WRLD Lines Up ‘Death Race For Love’ Dates

Juice WRLD exploded on streaming platforms throughout 2018, garnering all kinds of awards. His first headline tour surpassed expectations and his agent is promising much bigger things in 2019.

Juice WRLD is mixing up appearances at amphitheatres, clubs and theatres for a major headline tour of North America to span more than a month. Ski Mask The Slump God and the Lyrical Lemonade All-Stars are coming along for the ride.

The tour runs from April 25 at PNE Forum in Vancouver, British Columbia, to June 8 at the Bomb Factory in Dallas. Notable venues along the way include The Anthem in Washington, D.C., May 17; double nights at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York May 20-21; and Armory in Minneapolis June 1.

Juice WRLD went from being relatively unknown to selling out a substantial headline tour in 2018. He was featured on the cover of Pollstar and his agent, Andrew Lieber of MAC Agency told Pollstar, “Within three months the offers quadrupled.”

“Between management and myself, we knew we had to strike while the iron was hot. Everyone thought we were crazy to go up with three weeks to promote in [these] rooms – this was the first headline run, he’s doing 2,000- or 3,000-cap rooms, with a ticket price that wasn’t cheap. He went out there – he’s such an amazing artist – he crushed that tour. No tickets left on the table. It really was an impactful moment for Juice WRLD and set the table for him. It proved everyone wrong.”

That initial headline tour regularly reported grosses of more than $50,000, including a $94,000 gross at The Novo in Los Angeles off 2,340 tickets sold and $86,518 grossed at Salt Lake City’s Rockwell @ The Complex, with 2,700 tickets reported.

The upcoming tour takes its name from Juice WRLD’s forthcoming sophomore album, Death Race For Love, due out March 8. The initial single, “Robbery,” was released Feb. 13. In addition to the headline plays, Juice WRLD has festival slots locked in at major events like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Rolling Loud Music Festival.
