The Feldman Agency Sold To Jeff Craib, Tom Kemp
Sam Feldman has sold ownership of The Feldman Agency to company president Jeff Craib and vice president Tom Kemp. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
News of the deal broke via FYI Music News Feb. 15 and Craib subsequently confirmed the news with Pollstar.
“Tom Kemp and I are excited to be the new owners of TFA,” Craib said in a statement. “We are deeply committed to continuing its successes after Sam’s leadership and look forward to growing the agency’s legacy.”
The Feldman Agency, which has offices in Toronto and Vancouver, represents a wide breadth of artists, including Alessia Cara, Elvis Costello, Lil Jon, Bryan Adams, Raffi, Sarah McLachlan, Beirut, Chris Botti, and Three Days Grace, some of whom are only represented in Canada.
Feldman was listed as a primary agency for Bryan Adams on last year’s Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart. Adams grossed $24.7 million on 364,572 tickets, good enough to get him to No. 73 on the chart.
Last year The Feldman Agency brought Adam Kreeft on board as agent in October and Steven Himmelfarb before that in June. Kreeft [who reps artists Dave Hause, Millencolin, Cadence Weapon, Dear Rogue and more] joined from Paquin Artists Agency and Himmelfarb [ who reps Charlotte Day Wilson, PUP, Lord Huron, Beirut, Wolf Parade, New Pornographers and more] came from The Billions Corporation.
