DMX Returns With 32-Date North American Tour

Hardcore New York rapper DMX will hit 32 large clubs throughout North America from March to early May coast to coast on the It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot 20th Anniversary Tour.
Cities and venues include Boston’s House of Blues, Irving Plaza in New York City, the Tabernacle in Atlanta, the new House of Blues in New Orleans, and Summit Music Hall in Denver.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
DMX’s debut LP, widely considered a hip-hop classic, sold more than 5 million copies with hits including “Ruff Ryders Anthem,” “Get at Me Dog”, “How’s It Going Down” and “Stop Being Greedy.”
“We’ve taken the time to plan an experience his fans have been waiting for, now we can’t wait to execute!” DMX manager Pat Gallo said in a statement. 
“Who knew 20 years ago when I bought this album, that I would be exclusively representing DMX and celebrating 2 decades of this monumental album.  X is back,” added JJ Cassiere from recently launched talent agency 33 & West.
DMX, recently released from federal prison, was arrested in 2017 on charges of avoiding taxes and hiding millions of dollars of income from the IRS. He was released in late January.
His recent touring history includes headline appearances selling near the 2,000-ticket mark, including Dec. 8 at Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y., which grossed $111,900 on 1,874 tickets. In 2017 he did a handful of Ruff Ryders reunion dates with Eve, DMX, Swizz Beats, The Lox and Drag-On, including at Barclays Center in Brooklyn April 21, which moved 13,244 tickets and grossed $1.15 million.
