Rocklahoma Unveils Lineup, Topped By Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed & Shinedown

Rocklahoma is all set to return to the Sooner State this spring with a lineup featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Shinedown, Bush, Seether, In This Moment, Steel Panther, Jackyl, Asking Alexandria, Tech N9ne and more.

The 13th edition of the festival is scheduled May 24-26 at “Catch The Fever” festival grounds in Pryor, Okla., just outside Tulsa.

“Believe it or not, I’ve been doing shows in Oklahoma since 1971, so I know that they have some of the best audiences in the world there,” Ozzy Osbourne said.

Producer AEG Presents is showing its appreciation for Oklahoman fans with improvements to the site and festival experience.

New experiences in 2019 include The Roadhouse, with performances by local Oklahoma favorites, top tribute acts and national artists on the D&B Processing Stage, along with food trucks and a full-service bar. Early bird weekend festival passes and VIP packages go on sale Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. CT, starting at $129 plus fees. Prices will increase after Jan. 24 at 12 p.m. CT. Weekend VIP reserved tickets, including food and soft drinks, are priced at $379 plus fees.

The festival is offering a payment plan option, discounts for military members (weekend GA for $99 plus fees) and ticket four-packs ($436 plus fees). A limited quantity of Groupie and Roadie VIP packages, as well as the Rockstar Hotel Package, are also available.

Rocklahoma was previously marketed as part of the World’s Loudest Month – a U.S. festival series made up of seven major rock events, with Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock On The Range co-promoted by both AEG Presents and Danny Wimmer Presents; Rocklahoma and Rockfest solely put on by AEG; and Welcome To Rockville a DWP standalone-promoted festival. The series encompassed a total of more than 300 bands and nearly half a million tickets sold annually.

In September Danny Wimmer Presents announced it was replacing Rock On The Range with an independent, re-branded event dubbed Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio, along with Epicenter in Rockingham, N.C., to replace Carolina Rebellion. DWP CEO Danny Hayes confirmed that means the World’s Loudest Month brand will not continue.

AEG Presents filed a lawsuit against Danny Wimmer Presents in Los Angeles Superior Court Nov. 29, accusing DWP of walking away from previous agreements to stage Rock on the Range and Carolina Rebellion without compensation and announcing competing events. The complaint accuses DWP of “divorcing” its co-promoter of 11 years, shutting down the fests and simply renaming them Sonic Temple and Epicenter, respectively, staging them at roughly the same time as the two longer-running but defunct festivals.

The most recent box office report submitted to Pollstar for Rocklahoma was for the 2017 edition, which sold a total of 51,421 tickets over three days and grossed more than $2.67 million.
