Live Nation Ups Arthur Mroczek To VP Non-Traditional Entertainment
As Live Nation continues to expand its reach beyond musical concerts, the company announced the appointment of Arthur Mroczek to VP of Non-Traditional Entertainment for U.S. Concerts.
Mroczek has been with Live Nation since 2012 and has led its partnership with Cirque du Soleil. In his new role he will expand Live Nation’s offerings in special exhibits, family programming, experiential events and eSports. He works out of Live Nation’s Beverly Hills headquarters.
“As Live Nation continues to grow, we’re always exploring new opportunities to connect fans with artists of all kinds, and we’re excited to apply our touring expertise to more genres outside our core concerts business,” Bob Roux, President of U.S. Concerts said in a statement. “Arthur’s approach combines Live Nation’s extensive touring network with custom insight, and brings real value to any entertainers and performers looking to tour the country.”
Prior to his time with Live Nation, Mroczek worked with Feld Entertainment where he handled tours with Ringling Bros., Barnum & Bailey, and Disney On Ice. He also worked with WWE’s domestic and international marketing and partnership initiatives.
This is the latest of a string of recent promotions at Live Nation. In terms of U.S. concerts, just this week the company named Kelly Flanigan president of Washington D.C.; Neil Jacobsen president of Tampa / Orlando; and Brittany Flores president of Miami. Jacobsen was also named COO of Florida.
