Travis Scott Invites More Fans To Astroworld

Travis Scott has added a full second leg of North American arena dates to his: “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here” tour.

The new dates kick off Jan. 25 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C. and continue into late March, ending March 24 in Charlotte, N.C.’s Spectrum Center. The routing also contains postponed shows from Milwaukee; Hartford, Conn.; and Tampa, Fla.

A presale for American Express cardholders begins Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. LaneOne VIP packages, including first on floor access, premium seats, transportation, a preferred entrance more. The general onsale begins Dec. 20 at 10 a.m.

There are also a few more Travis Scott shows scheduled this year, including Dec. 18 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix and three nights at Forum in Inglewood, Calif., after that. He is also scheduled to headline Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Ala., in May; Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Del., in June; and Lollapalooza Stockholm in Sweden in June.

Travis had a huge 2018 with big sales numbers for his album Astroworld and great ticket sales for the tour. The “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here” tour hit State Farm Arena in Atlanta Nov. 13 and grossed $884,444 and sold 12,166 tickets. This year was also the inaugural edition of his very own festival, Astroworld, which was Nov. 17 at NRG Park in Houston.

In terms of news, Travis Scott was called to replace Childish Gambino at Austin City Limits Music Festival this year after the latter was injured; countersued promoters who claim he bailed on a performance the night before the Super Bowl; and got his charges for inciting a riot at a concert dropped. He also lost Trippie Redd as an opener for the current tour because the setup times for the complex production frequently cut into the opener’s set, according to Complex.

The “Astroworld: Wish You Were Here” tour is produced by Live Nation and presented by Apple Music. The dates are listed below for ease of reference.
