Live Nation Names New Presidents Of Tampa / Orlando & Miami

Florida is heating up as a music destination and Live Nation has named new presidents of U.S. concerts in two markets: Brittany Flores in Miami and Neil Jacobsen in Tampa / Orlando. Jacobsen will also serve in the newly created position of Live Nation’s COO of Florida.
As President of Miami – U.S. Concerts for Live Nation, Flores will be in charge of the company’s booking, marketing and business operations in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Jacksonville. 

Jacobsen (who was Pollstar’s Talent Buyer of the Year with MCA Concerts in 1994) will have similar responsibilities for Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando and the Florida Panhandle as President of Tampa / Orlando – U.S. Concerts. In addition to those duties, Jacobsen will oversee Live Nation’s long-term business planning and development opportunities in the state as COO of Florida. 

Both are based out of Boca Raton, but will move to Miami and Tampa / St. Petersburg as the company opens offices in those markets.

Both Flores and Jacobsen will report to Bob Roux, Live Nation’s President of U.S. Concerts. “As the market leader, we’ve seen incredible growth in Florida over the past several years. With Brittany and Neil at the helm, we are positioned to maximize the opportunities across this key region and bring more live music to Florida than ever before,” Roux said in a statement.

In addition to being the biggest promoter in the planet, and thus booking tons of shows throughout Florida, Live Nation owns House Of Blues Orlando in Buena Vista, Fla.;  Fillmore Miami Beach At Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Fla.; Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla.; and
