DEAG Classics AG promoted Jacqueline Zich to COO. Zich also moves up the ladder at DEAG Concerts GmbH, where she was promoted to the executive board.
Zich has been working at the Deutsche Entertainment AG (DEAG) since 2005. She started as project manager for DEAG Classics, which had just launched at the time.
She advanced to the executive management of DEAG Classics in 2011, to further develop the department into one of DEAG’s most lucrative.
Zich was responsible for concerts by Anna Netrebko, Piano Guys, Till Brönner, as well as the “Game Of Thrones Live Concert Experience”.
She’s also been supporting DEAG’s executive board with the expansion of the family entertainment segment, another priority for the German live entertainment giant.
DEAG founder and chairman Prof. Peter Schwenkow, who’s also CEO of DEAG Classics, said Zich’s appointment created the foundation for continued growth and even more opportunities for DEAG’s artists. “Jacquieline’s competence is undisputed, her commitment to her artists and projects passionate. This makes her the clear number two for one of Europe’s leading promoters of classical music. I’m looking forward to advancing our European expansion with Jacqueline, in order to offer our artists even more international support.”
The list of artists already confirmed for next year 2019 include Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov, Till Brönner, virtuoso violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, the Piano Guys, Diana Krall, Joan Baez and many more.
Zich said she appreciated the trust awarded to her by DEAG. “It’s a privilege to be working with so many unbelievable artists and to be participating in the development and execution of concerts and event formats. We’re well positioned with a hard-hitting team, and are looking forward to further expand our department.”
