Graceland Announces Live Nation To Book Guest House Theatre, Soundstage Venues

Graceland, the Memphis, Tenn., home of Elvis Presley, has announced a partnership with Live Nation that will bring year-round live music and entertainment to the Graceland Soundstage and Graceland Guest House Theater.

Beginning in early 2019, Graceland Live will host touring artists of all kinds at the 464-seat Graceland Guest House Theater, which is located within Graceland’s AAA Four Diamond resort.
Graceland Guest House Theater is a 464-seat, stadium-style venue that opened in fall 2016 as part of the AAA Four Diamond resort hotel that includes 430 guest rooms, 20 specialty suites, conference facilities, and a pool.
Graceland Soundstage is the centerpiece of Elvis Presley’s Memphis, a 200,000-square-foot entertainment complex featuring a full city block of museums, restaurants, and shops dedicated to the legend of Elvis Presley. Located less than 15 minutes from downtown Memphis, the venue can accommodate more than 1,500 fans (seated) and more than 2,000 standing.

Live Nation Clubs & Theatres already had a busy 2018 before recent announcements of partnerships with Southern California venues in the The Majestic Theatre in Ventura, Calif., and The Observatory locations in Santa Ana and San Diego.   
 “We opened up in Delaware, we opened an incredible venue in Phoenix called The Van Buren, took over The Depot in Salt Lake City, took over two venues and spent over $2 million refurbishing The Summit and Marquee in Denver,” Live Nation Clubs & Theatres President Ron Bension said a couple weeks ago. “We look at those as key markets. We’re looking in Albuquerque, Greensboro, anywhere where there’s a good, sound music scene, that’s where we’re going to go.”
