The Forum Names Ami Patel VP Of Artist Relations, VIP Services
– Ami Patel
Ami Patel has been named vice president of artist relations and VIP services for the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., the Madison Square Garden Company announced today.
In her new role, Patel will oversee all internal and external ticketing, and onsite VIP and celebrity management for the 17,500-capacity arena.
Additionally, Ms. Patel is now responsible for all VIP needs for entertainment events and other designated special projects at the venue, working closely with Rick Merrill, the Forum’s vice president of arena operations, and Geni Lincoln, the Forum’s VP of concert bookings. Ms. Patel will report to Darren Pfeffer, EVP of MSG Live for The Madison Square Garden Company.
Patel comes to the Forum from iHeartMedia, where she was director of national entertainment. Over the past nine years, Patel played a large part in event strategy for iHeartMedia’s 160 annual events, including event production and logistics; on-site artist relations; and local and national sponsorships/partnership opportunities.
She also had a major role in the operations and promotional aspects of iHeartMedia’s high-profile national events, including: iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas; iHeartCountry Festival in Austin;
