Hub Music Factory Acquires Punk Rock Festival Bay Fest In Italy

Grew from a one-day event to a three-day camping festival in three years

Independent Italian booking agency Hub Music Factory has completed the acquisition of seaside festival Bay Fest from former owner LP Rock Events. 

Bay Fest takes place in August in Bellaria Igea-Marina in the province of Rimini on the Adriatic Riviera, one of Italy’s sought-after seaside tourist destinations. The 2019 edition is scheduled Aug. 12-14, with NOFX and The Offspring already confirmed.

Since its inception in 2015, the festival has grown from a one-day to a three-day camping event, with some of the world’s most popular punk rock bands taking the stages, including Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion.

In a joint statement, Hub Music Factory owners Alessandro Fabbro and Tiziana Seregni said:  “Hub Music Factory has been curating Bay Fest’s artistic direction ever since the beginning, so its acquisition is a natural fit and it is also the optimal solution to keep the festival growing and expanding.”
