Innings Festival Brings MLB Legends, Major Headliners Together
Incubus, Eddie Vedder, Sheryl Crow, and Jimmy Eat World are all on the lineup for Tempe, Ariz.’s second annual Innings Festival, with appearances from baseball players like Roger Clemens, Jake Peavy, Sean Casey and many more. The C3 Presents event, a celebration of music and baseball, artists participating on two stages at Tempe Beach Park & Arts Park March 2-3, right as Major League Baseball Catcus League play – a multi-week destination event for many baseball fans looking to escape the chilly winter – gets under way in Arizona. Tickets are on sale now, with 1-day, 2-day, VIP and platinum tickets all available. Innings provides another example of a “boutique” festival which many promoters and agents agreed are the direction the market is headed. “Festivals have to constantly be evolving or adding something new or it will become stagnant. 2019 will not likely see a ton of changes but looking further down the road, I predict more boutique festivals will start popping up and will have experiences targeted towards very niche audiences offering enhanced experiences for a smaller group of fans,” Charles Attal of C3 Presents told Pollstar inits recent festival survey.
