Goldenvoice’s Stagecoach California’s Country Music Festival has unveiled its initial lineup for its thirteenth incarnation, and tickets go on sale this Friday.
The lineup is led by Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, and Jason Aldean as main stage headliners April 26-28. Cole Swindell, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cam, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Old Dominion, Lauren Alaina, Bret Michaels and many more are also on the bill.
Festival passes go on sale Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. PDT, with three-day passes ranging from $349 to $899.
Food options will include Guy Fieri’s Stagecoach Smokehouse, with the full food lineup to be announced at a later date. Nikki Lane’s Stage Stop Marketplace will provide vintage fashion and western wear. The SiriusXM Spotlight Stage and Honkytonk Dance Hall are also back.
“Stagecoach is hands down one of the best country music festivals around,” Sam Hunt said in a statement. “We’ve been looking forward to coming back for three years. Can’t wait.”
Goldenvoice’s Stacy Vee, who won the Talent Buyer of the Year award at Pollstar Live! this year, spoke to Pollstar both about her win and programming 2018’s festival. She said one great thing about country music is that promoters are able to effectively work with labels to coordinate radio success with prominent festival slots.
“It’s amazing that they can call the shots so far in advance,” Vee said in April. “It just doesn’t work that way in any other format. In every other genre, they’re like, ‘We’ll see what happens.’ In country they know what they’re doing.”
Of this year’s shindig, she said in a statement: “I am so proud to present the Stagecoach 2019 lineup following our record breaking show last year.
“This line up is gigantic! Guy Fieri is coming back! We are going to make the site look even more incredible. The whole team is already working overtime to deliver an unforgettable experience from top to bottom.”
Last year’s Stagecoach may have been incredible business, but it was not without challenges, as a fire destroyed three RVs on the first day. The last time Stagecoach submitted full reports was in 2016 when it grossed a staggering $25.4 million off 72,000 tickets.
