Exclusive: Hamish Anderson Hops On Tour With The Main Squeeze For Northeastern U.S.

The young rocker, who has toured with the likes of B.B. King and Low Cut Connie, recently dropped a new single titled “No Good.”

He released his debut album Trouble in 2016, and his sophomore effort is due out in 2019.

The tour is mostly in the regional Northeast, starting at Brighton Music Hall in Boston Nov. 2 and continuing for a week through Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Philly. 

The Main Squeeze is an established touring presence, having drawn 200 at Sunset Tavern in Seattle May 19; 299 in Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, Ore., May 18; and 512 in Columbia, Mo., April 20.  They reported a gross of $11,926 at The Blue Note in Columbia.

Prior to the run with Hamish, The Main Squeeze has dates throughout the U.S., including an Oct. 6 play at Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, which will also feature the blues rocker.

Hamish performed at BottleRock Napa Valley this year and Firefly, Telluride, Summerfest and Mountain Jam last year. The bluesman has opened for Low Cut Connie, Leo Nocentelli and Tommy Castro & The Painkillers in 2018. Some of his best experience so far has been opening for The Rides in 2016, during which he performed in front of 809 in Bethlehem, Pa.; 613 in Boston; and 762 in San Diego.
