Finland’s Alma Soars Into North American Clubs
Alma is headed from Finland to the U.S. and Canada this October, as she has booked a full headline run through the countries.
The fun kicks off Oct. 5 at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere., and continues for just under two weeks, wrapping at EchoPlex in Los Angeles Oct. 18. The two Canadian dates are at Mod Club in Toronto Oct. 8 and Celebrities in Vancouver Oct. 13. Other markets include Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco.
Tickets are on sale now.
The dance-popper Alma is pushing tunes from her Heavy Rules mixtape, which is available for download and streaming now.
Alma has a ton of festivals in Europe coming up, including Melt! Festival in Germany, Lollapalooza Paris in France, Flow Festival in her native Finland, and Reading and Leeds festivals in the U.K. She is also set to open for Halsey at Eventim Apollo Sept. 22 in London.
The only headline report we have from Alma is from O2 ABC 2 Glasgow May 21. She sold all 350 tickets available to that show at 10 pounds a pop, for a gross of $4,816 (3,500 pounds).
Alma is booked by Paradigm in North America and managed by ATC management. She is signed to Casablanca records, which is distributed by Republic Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group.
