Josh Lindgren Joins CAA To Boost Podcast Touring
Agent Josh Lindgren has joined CAA as an agent in the company’s touring department, where he will help grow the agency’s portfolio of touring podcast properties.
Lindgren will be based in Minneapolis and joins from The Billions Corporation, where he represented podcasts such as “Stuff You Should Know,” “The Last Podcast On The Left,” “Radiotopia Live,” “FiveThirtyEight Politics” and others.
“Stuff You Should Know” as a touring entity has recently sold out venues including The Wilbur in Boston (April 4, 1,088 tickets sold, $32,640 gross) and Moore Theatre in Seattle Jan 15, which sold 1,707 tickets and grossed more than $41,000.
CAA already represents podcasts and touring entities such as “My Brother, My Brother and Me,” “The Adventure Zone,” “Waking Up with Sam Harris,” and “Pod Save the People,” among many others.
Billions has seen multiple major agents leave in recent months, with Adam Voith and Andrew Colvin joining WME, Ali Hedrick and Trey Many joining Paradigm, and Steven Himmelfarb joining The Feldman Agency.
