Shore Fire Promotes Eight; Rebecca Shapiro And Matt Hanks Named Senior VPs

The New York-based PR/marketing firm Shore Fire Media announced the promotion of eight staff members June 15. Notable bumps include Rebecca Shapiro and Matt Hanks to senior vice presidents and Josh Page to Director.

Shapiro has been with Shore Fire since 1999 and previously worked with Rogers & Cowan. Hanks came from PR/radio promotion company Autotonic, and has been with the company since 2000.

Page started as an intern at Shore Fire in 2010 and was previously the senior account executive.

Additional promotions include Nina Lee and Ally Norton to senior account executives, and Greg Jakubik, Spencer Roth-Rose and Hannah Schwartz to junior account executives.

“The growth of our roster, and the addition of an LA office earlier this year, were made possible by the extraordinary performance and professional growth of each of these staffers,” president and founder Marilyn Laverty said in a statement. “We are so grateful for their contribution to Shore Fire.”
