The World Club Dome, promoted by BigCityBeats, a media and event company based in Frankfurt, Germany, has come a long way since debuting in 2013.

160,000 people came to Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Arena over three days
This year’s edition, which took place in Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Arena, June 1-3, attracted 160,000 guests over three days, which marks a new record. The lineup included Martin Garrix, Axwell/Ingrosso, Steve Aoki, Tiesto and many more.
200 DJs in total played the first World Club Dome with a theme, ‘The Hollywood Edition’, and the superstars among them were transported to the arena by helicopter, landing directly in the stadium.
Different stages accommodated different musical tastes, the Zombie Stage, for instance, was dedicated to hard style electronic music by the likes of Le Shuuk, Fabio & Moon, Neelix and Brennan Heart. The newly added Skyline Stage hosted names like Lost Frequencies, Sam Feldt, Lucas & Steve, while Garmiani, Grandtheft, Karol Tip and San Holo, among others, took over the Trap Stage.
BigCityBeats has been on a roll for some time now, launching a World Club Dome Winter Edition, Nov. 16-18 at Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, the first World Club Dome in Asia – for which feedback has been mixed – and even a World Club Dome in Zero Gravity.
Organizers believe this year’s success of the original World Club Dome in Frankfurt was down to the efforts the brand put into promoting the event internationally. The Zero Gravity event, in particular, gathered a lot of press internationally, propelling BigCityBeats’ recognition and ticket sales.
