With Grace Potter topping the ticket, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Magpie Salute, Caroline Rose, Darlingside and Mt. Joy are among the bands heading to Burlington, Vt., come autumn for two glorious days of making music at the Grand Point North Festival.
Sept. 15-16 is the date span with the fest taking place at Burlington’s Waterfront Park. This year’s lineup also includes Sister Sparrow And The Dirty Birds, and Greg Holden, plus regional and local acts Seth Yacovone Band, West End Blend, Harsh Armadillo, Clever Girls, JUPTR, Julia Caesar and Miku Daza.
“I’ve been looking forward to announcing this year’s lineup,” Potter said in a statement. “I learn so much every year as we continue to explore musical corners we haven’t covered yet. This year came together beautifully. I can’t wait to share in this with everyone.”
Potter’s six-year partnership with alternative weekly Seven Days allows fans to choose one Vermont musician or band to open the festival. Nominations and voting will take place in July. All fans that vote will be eligible to win two weekend passes to the Grand Point North Festival.
Presented by Higher Ground, Grand Point North is currently selling two-day tickets for $89. Single-day tickets go on sale soon. Keep watching Pollstar’s Grand Point North Festival page for updates.
