Mammoth Music Group Announces Official Artist Management Launch: Pretty Lights, Papadosio, Manic Focus
Denver-based Mammoth Music Group has officially announced the formation of a new full-service management company that will handle artists including Pretty Lights, Papadosio, Manic Focus, Pigeons Playing Ping-Pong and many others.
Mammoth Music Group is led by owner Phil Salvaggio and company partners Sean MacAskill, Jason Szabo and Russ Friedell. The group is joined by artist managers Jacob Ottmann, Dave DiCianni, Joe McCarten, Jacob Barinholtz, Emily Strom, Chris Meyer, Jeff Morrow and Evan Marks, according to the announcement.
MacAskill told Pollstar that Mammoth has been ramping up in recent weeks leading up to today’s formal launch.
“Our collective goal is to nurture authentic relationships with our artists while assisting in their development and executing their artistic vision and inspiration,” the company stated. “With a constantly changing paradigm that exists within the music business, we strive to be on the cutting edge while staying true to the beliefs of one’s art. Our goals are to push the boundaries of each artist while guiding them to success and remaining truly genuine. Mammoth Music Group utilizes modern industry tools, resources, creative, technologies, partnerships and vision to operate at the highest standard.”
The boutique artist management firm says it also specializes and offers consultation services in marketing, production, promotions, branding and more.

From Mammoth’s roster, Pretty Lights has two Red Rocks shows coming up in August, with recent boxoffice submitted to Pollstar including 9,763 tickets sold to Hunting Bank Pavilion @ Northerly Island in Chicago Aug. 18-19, which grossed $355,282 over to shows, and last year’s two dates at Red Rocks, which sold out 18,208 tickets and grossed $803,382 in August. Real name Derek Vincent Smith, Pretty Lights played many festivals in 2017 including Life is Beautiful, Imagine in Atlanta, Okeechobee, and headlined Snowta NYE in Minneapolis.
Papadosio has sold out clubs including Intersection / Showroom in Grand Rapids, Mich., which grossed $15,063 and is booked to play the Great South Bay festival in New York in August.
Chicago-based Manic Focus just recently sold out the local Riviera Theatre on a co-promotion with Jam Productions, React Presents and Silver Wrapper, with 2,397 tickets sold and $53,314 grossed, and has upcoming dates including Bonnaroo. Manic Focus is still co-managed by Silver Wrapper’s Michael Berg, who handles talent buying for Suwannee Hulaween in Florida and North Coast Music Festival in Chicago.
