Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and the band bring “Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary Tour” to BJCC Concert Hall in Birmingham, Ala., May 9.
The dates start Nov. 28 at Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, Minn., and continue for nearly a month, wrapping at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa, Calif., Dec. 22.
The set will include Beach Boys’ classics like “Little Saint Nick,” and established holiday favorites like “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
Presales in select markets begin April 3 and tickets go on sale to the general public in most markets April 6.
Wilson has resurged as a headliner in recent years and was featured as a Pollstar HotStar for his solo success.
“I decided to do it because I wanted something to do with my time, and wanted to make people happy with my music,” Wilson told Pollstar about his return to touring, initially with a live performance of Pet Sounds, his classic album with the Beach Boys. “It feels great. I love making people happy, and the audiences love Pet Sounds.”
His next planned gig is April 18 at Pikes Peak Center April 18.
Attendance at his shows can vary from market-to-market but he can still bring in big paydays, as he did at Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, Calif., Oct. 14, where he sold 4,623 tickets and grossed $354,351.
Wilson worked a lot in 2017, with his highest-grossing gig coming from two nights at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles May 26-27, where he sold out both nights for 5,434 tickets moved and $452,160 grossed.
