Blink-182 Are Las Vegas ‘Kings Of The Weekend’
null – Blink-182
Arriving at The Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas, Nev.
With 25 years of recording and touring under its belt, Blink-182 has done just about everything a band can do except play a Las Vegas residency. But that will change come May when the band launches a run at the Pearl Concert Theater.
Dubbing the engagements the “Kings Of The Weekend,” Blink-182 will rock the newly renovated Pearl May 26-27, June 8-9, 15-16, 23-24, Oct. 26-27, Nov. 2-3, 9-10 & 16-17.
Recent improvements at The Pearl include a stage positioned a mere four feet off the ground that breaks down the wall between a band and its fans while creating a more intimate vibe. Private and semi-private skyboxes are available on the east side of the room and feature private bars, lounges and restrooms.
Blink-182 comes to Las Vegas following a year when the band toured North America and Europe in support of its 2016 release, California, which featured singles “She’s Out Of Her Mind” and “Kings OF The Weekend.” Boxoffice reports submitted to Pollstar include details on the band’s May performance at Florida’s Orlando Amphitheater that sold 5,282 of 6,500 tickets available, grossing over $195,000.
The folks at The Pearl are anticipating the band’s arrival.
“Blink-182 is one of those bands that crosses over multiple genres of music, and transcends many generations of music lovers.,” said Palms Casino Resort General Manager Jon Gray. “They’re a perfect fit for a true rock residency – our first at the Pearl.”
Tickets go on sale March 23 at 10 a.m. PDT. Keep watching Pollstar’s Blink-182 page for updates.
