Kiefer Sutherland Readies ‘Reckless’ World Tour

You’ve seen him fight off the forces of evil as Jack Bauer on TV’s “24” and save the office of the presidency on “Designated Survivor.”  Now Kiefer Sutherland is prepping for a global tour beginning at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry in April.

News of Sutherland’s “Reckless” tour arrives just as he’s finishing his latest album to be released this summer. Traveling and playing all over North America, Sutherland begins the European part of his adventure when he plays Kantine in Cologne, Germany, June 7.

“I couldn’t have imagined the depth with which I have fallen in love with touring,” Sutherland said.  “To have the opportunity to convey intimate, personal stories to an audience, for me, has proven to be priceless.”

Sutherland’s box office data submitted to Pollstar shows Sutherland is as loved for his music as he is for his acting.  Although some shows sold fewer tickets than expected, his trail of box office grosses depicts an artist filling up rooms night after night.  His evening at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Va., last year sold all 500 seats and grossed $17,500.
