Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town Add A Few
Brett Schauf – Miranda Lambert
Miranda Lambert plays Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan., March 10.
New stops have been added to The Bandwagon Tour featuring Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town. Turnpike Troubadours, The Steel Woods and Natalie Hemby are hopping on for select dates, while Tenille Townes joins for the whole affair.
The amphitheatre tour was already scheduled to start July 12, and now new stops have been added at Houston’s Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Aug. 10; Starplex Pavilion in Dallas Aug. 11; and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Ill., in Aug. 25.
Most dates have Turnpike Troubadours joining as special guests, except Houston and Dallas, which have The Steel Woods and Chicago which just has Tenille Townes. The first three dates, July 12, 13 and 14 in Charlotte, N.C., Cincinnati and Indianapolis have Natalie Hemby.
Tickets to the new dates go on sale to the general public March 16.
Miranda Lambert’s next date is locked in for March 15 with Jon Pardi and Ashley McBryde at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. Little Big Town is also scheduled to play a show March 15, in Green Bay, Wis.’s Resch Center.
The last headline report we have from the two acts playing a non-festival show together is from 2011, but they are both doing much bigger business now. Miranda Lambert has grossed more than $500,000 this year for shows in Duluth, Ga.; Tacoma, Wash.; Sacramento, Calif.; Fresno, Calif.; and Inglewood, Calif. Little Big Town played a lot at Ryman Auditorium last year, grossing $130,748 off 2,256 tickets Nov. 27, but the band was doing arenas in 2015.
