Madison Square Garden Names Victoria Parker VP Of Productions
Madison Square Garden – Victoria Parker
Madison Square Garden has announced seasoned executive Victoria Parker as the executive vice president of MSG productions, beginning her role March 12.
Parker will oversee all aspects of MSG’s production business. One of her main priorities will be enhancing the annual “Christmas Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes.” Other responsibilities include the creation and implementation of new proprietary productions and events for MSG venues, notably including the MSG Sphere that was announced last month to be built in Las Vegas.
Parker joins MSG after serving as head of creative strategy for Verizon’s Oath Studios, where she developed the market strategy for one of the company’s mobile-only entertainment services. Prior to Verizon, she spent 10 years working at The Weinstein Company, where she served as vice president of corporate affairs and senior vice president of theatrical productions.
While at TWC, Parker first worked with MSG as an executive producer on the“12-12-12” benefit concert that raised more than $50 million for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
“MSG is home to some of the most powerful and beloved brands in all of entertainment, and I’m deeply honored to be given this unique opportunity to build and grow such a valuable entity,” Parker said in statement. “I have had the opportunity to work with many of the exceptional people at MSG Productions, and look forward to being a part of such a talented team at such an exciting and creative time.”
MSG is affiliated with Oak View Group, Pollstar’s parent company.
