Eventim UK Becomes VMS Live’s Official Ticketing Supplier

Eventim UK has partnered with VMS Live as the venue operator and promoter’s official ticketing agency.

VMS’s current and recent UK clients include Manchester Academy, Union of UEA Students Union (The Nick Rayns LCR, Waterfront & Studio), Glyndwr University Wrexham (William Aston Hall & Catrin Finch Centre), Warwick University Students Union (Copper Rooms), Hull (Welly, Polar Bear & Fruit), Liverpool Olympia, Warehouse 23 (Wakefield), Preston Guildhall, Portsmouth Pyramids and Brixton Electric.

Company MD Steve Forster said, “VMS are currently a small business in the context of the major players out there, but we continue to double in size year on year. Eventim approached us about a partnership, their flexible approach and ability to modify their standard offering to suit our business needs convinced us to partner with them.”

He added he was a fan of Eventim’s resale platform FanSale, in particular, which he described as a “fair price ticketing resale platform,” and which was part of why he thought both companies shared a similar ethos as a business.

The company’s promotions director Car Bathgate added, “as we’ve grown and deliver more, we needed a ticketing partner. We need access to the best technology, and wanted bespoke developments. We selected Eventim for this role, as they have an ideal mix of skills that will allow us to develop and mutually support each other.”
