John Davisson – Joey Bada$$
Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.
Joey Bada$$ has shared dates for his upcoming tour with Buddy and Boogie coming along as support. The tour is titled “The Amerikkkana Tour,” as a reference to the U.S.’s challenging issue of race relations.
The new gigs start April 17 in Boston and the tour continues for more than a month, finishing in Detroit May 24.
The venues are mostly clubs and theatres, and notable stops include The Van Buren in Phoenix, The Catalyst in Santa Cruz, Calif., The Truman in Kansas City, Mo., and Terminal 5 in New York.
Tickets are available now.
Joey is working on projects with his Pro Era hip-hop collective, including the latest single “King to a God” with Dessy Hinds. He is building a reputation as a premier live act, with high energy and a growing setlist. He toured arenas opening for Logic last year, and that tour was big business, putting him in front of tens of thousands of fans around North America.
In terms of headline plays, he grossed a reported $59,121 at Olympia Theatre in Dublin Oct. 30.
The next place fans can catch Joey Bada$$ is at Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival March 3 in Florida.
