J. Cole Headlines JMBLYA
John Davisson – J. Cole
MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa, Fla.
J. Cole, Cardi B and Migos top the bill for this year’s edition of the JMBLYA festival, which has expanded to three cities in Texas this year and two stages.
The lineup also features Playboi Carti, Trippie Redd, Ski Mask The Slump God and Kevin Gates, whose performance will mark his first announced set since he was released from prison.
The sixth edition of the Texas festival, produced by Austin-based ScoreMore Shows, will hit Fair Park in Dallas May 4, Austin’s Circuit Of The Americas May 5 and wrap up at the Sam Houston Race Park in Houston May 6. The return to Houston is somewhat of a homecoming for the festival, as it hasn’t taken place in the city since its inception in 2013.
Tickets for all three days are on sale now.
JMBLYA is partnering with NBA Houston Rocket’s James Harden’s Lucky 13 Program to give Houston area residents the opportunity to get free tickets to the festival through participating in community service projects.
J. Cole has no other dates booked so far this year, making JMBLYA his first confirmed live performance of 2018. The rapper placed No. 60 on Pollstar’s Year End Top 100 Tours chart, selling 470,339 tickets and grossing $635,714 , with every date reported to Pollstar’s box office. Two back-to-back nights at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., stand out, with 25,791 tickets sold and more than $2.1 million grossed.
The rapper also headlined 2017’s Budweiser Made In America in Philadelphia and 2016’s Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas.
