ARAM from Poland, which is a member of the PRG Alliance of rental companies, has introduced an automated platform for its video, audio, lighting and rigging clients.
The platform is called A-Rental, and ARAM claims it’s “the first automated rental platform” for the industry. Companies providing event production services can choose their equipment online and with a few clicks. The order is then processed by the A-Rental warehouse system.
After checking the items’ availability and awarding potential discounts, the person in charge can quickly and easily send out a quote to the client. Apart from accelerating the quoting process, it is a platform for ARAM to show off its vast amount of equipment. No registration is needed to browse through the stock, but partners that want to see prices and access additional features, need to send a request for verification at a-rental.pl.
CEO Rafał Mrzygłocki said, “many of our customers are unaware of the number of items we have in stock, and they frequently happen to need another converter, remote control for a presentation or a non-standard mixer. We wanted to create a solution that would be fully integrated with our warehouse rather than a separate portal.”
ARAM offers design and technical production for all kinds of projects, including corporate events, festivals, exhibitions, conferences and television programs. It delivered the video and lighting setup for the New Year’s Eve party in Zakopane, Poland, which attracted some 90,000 visitors.
Mrzygłocki said it was a unique project to work on: “Due to its location, the scope of festivities and many challenging elements that came with it, this stage is one of the most complex productions we’ve ever worked on, and one that will continue to inspire us for a very long time.”
