Len Chenfeld has departed APA after a little over three years at the agency to form his own company, Modern Sound Entertainment. 

Chenfeld brings his clients Beshken, Future Generations, Shy Girls and Whereisalex. 
“At Modern Sound, we work with original artists that can develop a passionate following and have the potential to expand beyond their core audience,” Chenfeld told Pollstar. “We strive to provide personal service, but with the ambition and reach of a larger agency.” 
Chenfeld noted that all of his acts are touring this year and releasing either EPs or LPs. He added that the artists are probably going to play a couple hundred dates in 2018. 
Chenfeld started working at APA in June 2014, right after graduating college, and left the company in mid-September. He opened the doors to Modern Sound Entertainment in late November. The company’s office is located in Union Square in New York.
