– Cobra Agency
Founders Dominik Meyer & Guenther Beer
Former Rock The Nation agents Dominik Meyer and Guenther Beer launched Cobra, a boutique agency based in Austria for hard rock and metal acts.
Both Meyer and Beer held major roles at RTN since 2005 and 2008, respectively. They brought their entire roster of act along, which they’ll be representing throughout Europe. It includes Amaranthe, Amon Amarth, Amorphis, Arch Enemy, Backyard Babies, Battle Beast, Behemoth, Beyond The Black, Blues Pills, Danzig, Eluveitie, Equilibrium, Kreator, Mantar, Me And That Man, Powerwolf, Sabaton, Sepultura, Tesseract, Testament, and Watain.
“We’re more than excited to announce Cobra Agency,” said Dominik Meyer. “Our intention was to form a new agency with a very strong network of contacts and partners that delivers even better services and opportunities to our clients. We’re confident that Cobra will meet these requirements.”
Guenther Beer added: “The new company setup offers our clients a great opportunity to expand their possibilities. At the same time, we are able to further extend our strategy of providing innovative services to our clients and improve the comprehensive support and individual care for each of our artists tremendously.”
Arch Enemy from Sweden is currently touring Europe until Feb. 14, after which it will be playing seven shows in Japan for the rest of the month. Australia is next. Sepultura from Brazil are getting ready for their European tour as well, which kicks off Feb. 23 in Leipzig, Germany, and lasts until March 24, when it closes in Solothurn, Switzerland. The band will then play Brazil, New Zealand, Australia and Japan, bevor returning to Europe for the festival season.
