Charlie Puth’s Summer Plans

Charlie Puth sets his eyes on summer and his biggest headlining tour yet.  The singer’s “Voicenotes” adventure launches in July and includes Hailee Steinfeld providing main support.

The tour, starting July 11 at Budweiser Stage in Toronto, is in support of Puth’s Voicenotes album, due out next year on Atlantic.  The single “How Long” is already available and racking up the streams.

The one-time YouTube star has been part of this season’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour and spent most of the summer appearing with Shawn Mendes where he opened sold-out arenas.  Now he’ll see his name on top of the marquee during an outing that includes New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre among its destinations.

Puth will be making the TV rounds during the closing days of 2017,  The artist will appear on Tuesday night’s season finale of NBC’s “The Voice,” and will perform “How Long” and “Attention” on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Dec. 31 on ABC.

Official “Voicenotes” tour credit card Citi will hold a presale beginning at 10 a.m. local time Dec. 19.  General onsales for the Live Nation-produced tour start Dec. 22. 

Puth’s 2016 headline tour included sold-out gigs at Chicago’s Park West, Los Angeles’ The Fonda, San Francisco’s The Regency Ballroom, Atlanta’s Terminal West, and New York’s Webster Hall. Last year he was also on the cover of Pollstar magazine.
