“I am excited to be able to take everything I have learned while on the road the last four years watching all that Luke, Jason, Kenny, Dierks, Tyler and Brian [of Florida Georgia Line] did as headliners,” Swindell said in a statement. “Everything from how they treat their fans, their high-energy performances, to how they treated EVERYONE on the tour. They were great examples of how much work it takes for a successful tour. I can honestly say I’ve learned from the very best in the business. I’m ready to get out there with two of my friends, Chris Janson and Lauren Alaina. Start to finish, it’s going to be an amazing show and we’re ready to share it with you all.”
Promoted by Live Nation, The Reason To Drink Tour kicks off Feb. 15 at the PPL Center in Allentown, Pa. Stops on the outing include the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.; Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis.; Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, Ill.; and The Arena in Corbin, Ky.
Presale tickets will be available Nov. 28. General onsales begin Dec. 1 in most markets. Visit Cole Swindell’s tour page to see the complete schedule and check with your local venue for more onsale information.
Swindell has been busy this year supporting Dierks Bentley on the road. The most recent Swindell headline box office report submitted to Pollstar was an Aug. 1 gig at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, which sold 7,397 tickets (87 percent capacity), grossing $236,189. Before that he played a sold-out show at the 4,000-cap Hudson Fields in Milton, Del., which grossed $185,000.
