Foo Fighters Extends Tour To Fall 2018

With sold out dates stretching from Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center to New York’s Madison Square Garden, it’s a no-brainer that Foo Fighters just added another leg of North American gigs to its “Concrete and Gold Tour.”

The tour is named after the Foos’ ninth studio album, which was released in September. The North American portion of the tour launched last month and the next stop is tonight in Tulsa, Okla., at the BOK Center.

The new batch of gigs takes place in September 2018, along with second show at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. The first night in the Windy City, scheduled July 29, sold out immediately, according to an announcement from the band’s PR reps.

Here’s the plan: 
July 30 – Chicago, Ill., Wrigley Field 
Sept. 1 – Seattle, Wash., Safeco Field           
Sept. 4 – Edmonton, Alberta, Rogers Place   
Sept. 6 – Calgary, Alberta, Scotiabank Saddledome
Sept. 8 – Vancouver, British Columbia, Rogers Arena        
Sept. 9 – Portland, Ore., Moda Center
Sept. 12 – San Jose, Calif., SAP Center At San Jose.

Earlier this week the Foo Fighters announced the band was once again headlining and curating the lineup for Cal Jam festival in San Bernardino, Calif. Ticket onsales for the Oct. 5-6 show at the Glen Helen Amphitheater haven’t been announced yet.

A Capital One cardholder and Foo Fighters fan presale for the new headline dates began today and runs through Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public Nov. 18 at 10 a.m., with the exception of Seattle, which goes on sale Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. All times local.

The most recent box office report Pollstar received for the Foos is for the band’s Nov. 13 gig at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kan., which sold 7,193 tickets and grossed $585,835. Two nights before that the band grossed more than $1 million for a sold-out show at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Struts supported both nights.
