Shakira Further Postpones El Dorado World Tour Start
Saying the singer’s vocal cords are still not at 100 percent, Shakira and promoter Live Nation were forced to postpone four more dates of the El Dorado world tour, which was supposed to kick off Nov. 8 in Cologne, Germany.

This meant that the tour’s official start was postponed to the Nov. 10 show at AccorHotels Arena in Paris, where Shakira was also scheduled to play Saturday, Nov. 11.
While the arena confirmed on Nov. 8 that both gigs were to go ahead, Live Nation announced a day later that they had to be scrapped.
“On doctor’s orders,” the announcement read, both Paris shows were called off, as well as Nov. 12 at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, and Nov. 14 at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Both Shakira and Live Nation informed fans that they were “working on confirming new dates.”
Should the doctor’s diagnosis prove to be accurate, Shakira will commence her El Dorado world tour on Nov. 16 at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier, France, also known as the Park&Suites Arena or simply Arena Montpellier.
Pollstar has reached out to both Arena Montpellier and Live Nation France for any updates on Shakira’s tour plans.
