Country mainstay Alan Jackson and his “Honky Tonk Highway Tour” are rambling through the U.S. in 2018. Select shows will feature Lauren Alaina.
The new gigs start Jan. 19 in Lexington, Ky., at Rupp Arena and dates are peppered throughout the months, the last of which is Sept. 15 in Charlotte, N.C. More dates are being promised, so the routing may fill up more in the coming weeks and months.
Alaina is joining for the show in Lexington and Jan. 20 in Little Rock, Ark.’s Verizon Arena.
Tickets to select dates are already on sale and the rest go on sale Nov. 17.
Jackson was made a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame this year. The tour features Jackson performing hits from his more than 25 year-long career, including tunes from his 2015 release Angels and Alcohol.
Our Box Office records for 2017 show Jackson can still put buts in seats, as he reported above 90 percent sales in Evansville, In.; Brookings, S.D.; Nashville; Saint Augustine, Fla.; Duluth, Ga.; and Pensacola, Fla. Those reports show an average attendance of about 5,671 per show, with an average gross of $329,938.
