Etix Acquires ExtremeTix, TicketBiscuit

North Carolina-based ticketing company Etix announced its acquisition of motorsports, rodeo, festival and special events ticketer ExtremeTix Oct. 25 and TicketBiscuit Oct. 26.

Etix boasts 50 million tickets sold in more than 40 countries every year.

“Acquiring ExtremeTix is about more than just growing the company,” Etix founder and CEO Travis Janovich said. “It is about adding quality, experienced staff and technology to better serve our expanding customer base.”

TicketBuscuit processes more than $100 million in ticket sales annually according to a statement.

Janovich said the company “aligns well with our vision to deliver a premier ticketing platform.”
