Trill Sammy Plots Harvey Benefit

Up and coming Houston rappers Trill Sammy and Maxo Kream have announced a four-date Texas tour Oct. 20-24 where all proceeds will go to Hurricane Harvey relief.

 Presented by No Jumper, the tour includes El Paso’s Lowbrow Palace, Warehouse Live Studio in Houston, Club Dada in Dallas and Come And Take It Live in Austin. 

The Houston show will be completely free, with a statement from promoter Scoremore Shows saying the artists “wanted to make sure the event was accessible to everyone, even those who may have been impacted financially from Harvey.” 

Relief efforts are via Angel by Nature, the nonprofit set up by hip-hop artist Trae Tha Truth, whose “mission is to assist, as well as be extremely hands on with restoring the communities and families impacted to wholeness” those affected by Harvey. 

Trill Sammy has been gaining traction online with more than millions of YouTube hits for multiple videos. 

Maxo Kream just dropped a track featuring the red-hot Scoremore Shows called “Mars.”

Tickets go on sale via Trill Sammy’s website Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.
