Elite 100 Artists Week Ending 8/31/17

One single dropped by Taylor Swift nearly breaks the internet but she doesn’t quite top the Elite 100 Artists Chart for the week.

Debut LPs from from Lil Uzi Vert as well as  put both rappers ahead of T Swizzle for the week.

A new LP from Queens of the Stone Age, produced by Mark Ronson, puts the desert rockers at No. 4. Drake stays at No. 5 still, no matter what.

Lil Uzi Vert has been hot on streaming for a while now but just dropped his first solo LP, Luv Is Rage 2.

He also has a nice tour history at Pollstar, with 13 headline receipts reported, selling just under 2,000 tickets per show.

Pollstar, with the BuzzAngle Music-powered Elite 100 Artists Chart, gives a snapshot of the week’s top-selling artists based on music sales and streaming, counting data from the U.S. and Canada.

All product, not just current releases, by that artist are included in the figures and the total for ranking purposes is based on an album sale equaling 1, 10 song sales equal 1 album, and 1,500 on-demand streams equal 1 album.
