Flying Lotus In 3D

FlyLo’s new 3D setup debuted at this year’s FYF Festival in Southern California, where fans donned custom Flying Lotus 3D specs to fully enjoy the visuals.
The Hollywood Cemetery dates are in collaboration with the Red Bull Music Academy Festival in Los Angeles, which takes place for much of October and features acts like St. Vincent Oct. 7 and “A Conversation With Ice-T” Oct. 28.
From there the rest of the Flying Lotus tour, which does not include Thundercat, takes off to Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix and Houston before hitting the South at venues like the NorVa in Norfolk, Va., Nov. 3.
Then it heads up the East Coast at venues including the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, the Echostage in Washington DC, Metropolis in Montreal and Brooklyn Steel in New York Nov. 6.
The tour then hits the Midwest and then back West before ending at Roseland in Portland, Ore., Nov. 22. Tickets go on sale Aug. 25.

Flying Lotus, real name Steven Ellison, has not released a full LP since 2014’s You’re Dead but has been busy with other projects, including his debut in film directing with the 2017 horror flick “Kuso.”
