Ticketmaster Arrives In Switzerland

The Swiss live entertainment scene has been awaiting the arrival of Ticketmaster in Switzerland ever since Live Nation opened its GSA operation in 2015.

The day has come. 

Ticketmaster formed a strategic partnership with local ticketing firm tixtec, which is headed by George Egloff. He said it is “truly an honor” to be part of the team bringing Ticketmaster’s technology and service to Switzerland.

Mark Yovich, President of Ticketmaster International, said Egloff and his team possessed an “invaluable understanding of the Swiss ticketing and live entertainment sector.”

Ticketmaster, which claims to process “more than 530m primary tickets” annually, now operates in 30 countries.
