Eagles, Doobie Brothers Plot ‘Classic Northwest’

Adding onto the much hyped Classic West and Classic East concerts in Los Angeles and New York, and now Eagles and the Doobie Brothers are playing a one-night only show in Seattle at an event dubbed “The Classic Northwest.”

The venue for the Sept. 30 performance will be the 47,476-capacity Safeco Field. Tickets go on sale Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. PDT.

Eagles and the Doobie Brothers already played at the Classic West event at Dodger Stadium, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey filling in for the late Eagles guitarist Glenn Frey. The bands hit Citi Field this weekend.
