LCD Soundsystem fills out its schedule with a handful of U.S. dates … Garth Brooks adds a gig in Canada … Modest Mouse books another run of U.S. shows.
With the majority of its upcoming gigs sold out, it’s a safe bet to say that tickets are also going to go fast for LCD Soundsystem’s new concerts.
Following a few summer festival appearances, the fall tour launches in Europe with two nights at Vega in Copenhagen, Denmark, Sept. 7-8. After that James Murphy and the gang heads to Amsterdam, Paris and other fine cities.

Wayhome Music And Arts Festival, Burl’s Creek Event Grounds, Oro-Medonte, ON, Canada
The North American portion of the trek kicks off Oct. 17 at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. The new dates include a second night at The Anthem Oct. 18, as well as a stop at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium Oct. 20.
LCD also added Nov. 4 at Detroit’s Masonic Temple Theatre and two nights at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom Nov. 6-7. Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the public July 21.
The group announced last month that its long-awaited album, American Dream, is due out Sept. 1 via Columbia Records/DFA. Click here to check out LCD’s complete tour schedule.
Garth Brooks confirmed today that he’s going back up north with a post proclaiming, “Canada, Get Ready For The Garth Experience!”
The new show takes place Sept. 9 at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta.

The announcement points out that this will be Brooks’ last world tour stop in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Brooks previously performed in Edmonton, Alberta, in February and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in June 2016.
The world tour features his wife and fellow country star, Trisha Yearwood.
Tickets for Calgary go on sale July 28 at 10 a.m. MDT.

Modest Mouse’s fall tour isn’t looking so modest.
The indie rock band just added 10 new dates, starting with a Sept. 6 show at Fillmore Miami Beach At Jackie Gleason Theatre in Florida. Modest Mouse is showing some more love to the state with gigs in Saint Augustine and Orlando.

The other new stops are booked in Atlanta; New Orleans; Houston; Dalla; New Braunfels, Texas; Tucson, Ariz.; and Reno, Nev.
A presale is ongoing with the password STRANGERS. Tickets go on sale to the general public July 31.
Fans are waiting on the follow-up album to 2015’s Strangers to Ourselves.
