New Mexico Venues Naming Rights

Dreamstyle Remodeling Inc., the company that bought naming rights to University of New Mexico’s basketball arena and football stadium for $10 million, has approved a name that features the old with the new.

Out of several designs made available for public feedback, Dreamstyle Arena and Dreamstyle Stadium, with “The Pit” incorporated in signage and promotions, was the favorite. The arena sign will have a black shield with “The Pit” in large red letters and “Est. 1966” underneath.

Signage for the stadium is expected to be installed by Aug. 1. Arena signage to follow by Sept. 1, the paper said.
